Design Architects work directly with Moshe Safdie and the firm’s Principals to develop design concepts and architectural ideas. They are responsible for organizing and coordinating the design efforts of all members of the design team across multiple projects concurrently.

The position requires experience in the production of concept, schematic, and design development documents for large-scale, programmatically complex public and private projects. In addition to managing a team and being proficient with the tools of design, candidates need to be keen on being involved directly in the production of design studies, presentations, and drawings.

Candidates must be highly motivated, have the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, and possess a willingness to assume both project-wide and office-related responsibility. Aside from involvement on the architectural projects, designers will have the opportunity to work on research-driven efforts and assist with publications and exhibitions.

  • Strong basis in dealing with rational and complex geometries
  • An investigative nature and superior problem-solving skills
