Back[casting] to the Future
I’ve become a fan of Ken Gordon, the Principal Communications Strategist at Continuum Innovation in Boston, home of “The Future Made Real.™”
In his LinkedIn profile, Ken says, “I invent highly original content and ensure that it finds the proper audience. And then I talk it up with those people.” Words of wisdom for all of us involved with strategy, marketing, and communications.
Through Ken, I learned about Continuum’s Approach to Backcasting — “Rather than focusing on incremental innovation, Continuum helps clients identify a future vision and work backwards to today.”
This is one of the techniques that we recommend as part of our consulting, and we’ll be talking about that and more in a series of #FridayFuture posts.
