K+S is seeking an experienced professional with the talent and experience to work closely within their leadership group to guide the firm’s marketing and business development strategies.
Role + Responsibilities
The Marketing Manager should be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with strengths in traditional and digital marketing, communications, and social engagement. In addition, the Marketing Manager must understand, embrace, and communicate the spirit of the Krueck + Sexton practice, characterized by a flawless aesthetic, impeccable detailing, functional and technical excellence, fulfillment of purpose, and a dedication to the art of building.
Marketing + Business Development Leadership
- Pursue strategic initiatives for client acquisition and maintenance
- Elevate the K+S message to the community and public/client realm
- Engage in ear-to-the-ground networking to get an early “scoop” on project leads
- Identify, research, and follow-up on project leads
- Plan and execute internal strategy and planning sessions
- Conduct project/client research, intelligence, and discovery
- Execute publicity campaigns for completed projects, including editorial and awards submissions
Marketing Resources Management
- Provide updates during monthly management meetings
- Develop and review the marketing budget with principals
- Work with principals to track business development activities
- Work with principals, senior staff, and other marketing/PR team members to design, write, and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral
- Script and coach interview presentations
- Solicit, write, and produce RFQ and RFP responses
- Drive preparation of award nomination materials
- Serve as internal resource for the firm’s portfolio
- Liaise with PR and BD consultants as required
